Hey, thanks for your feedback! Sounds like a lot of work to change the wiring harness. Can you remember roughly how much it cost? And did you have any other problems that cropped up afterwards? Whatever, I'd love to know. Thank you!

Hey, sure, no problem, I can tell you. It cost me €155 to repair the wiring harness. It was no walk in the park, I can tell you, but afterwards everything was back to normal. The good news is that the solar sensor was also fixed after the mechanic's visit, so I haven't had any more problems. So just get your car checked and hopefully everything goes as stress free for you as it did for me. Good luck, buddy!

Hey, thanks for the info and sharing your experience. I'm a bit reassured now that there were no further problems after the repair. A price like that seems feasible. I will definitely get my car checked and hope it goes as stress free for me too. Thanks for your support, buddy!

Hey, I drive a 2007 Toyota Hilux and once had a similar problem. In my case, it was the wiring harness that was broken, apparently it messed up the electronics. The repair was quite expensive because the whole wiring harness had to be replaced and that's a pretty big part. It was definitely a more serious issue, but since then everything has been smooth again. It's best to have your car checked out in the store, maybe it's the wiring harness. Hope that helps you!
