Thanks for the quick reply. I haven't had a chance to physically inspect the control rods yet. However, assuming it is the control rod, how involved is the replacement process? Is it something a reasonably skilled DIYer could tackle, or is specialized equipment required?

While a reasonably skilled individual might be able to handle the replacement, the diagnostic precision needed to pinpoint the fault absolutely suggests a visit to a qualified workshop. Suspension systems can be complex, and proper calibration is crucial for safety and optimal performance.

Understood, I appreciate the advice. It turned out to be a defective control rod on the sensor, as suspected. Had it replaced at a workshop for 110€. Everything is back to normal now.

It sounds like a suspension issue is indeed present. Does the error code provide any further detail? It might point to a specific sensor or corner of the vehicle. Have you checked the sensor control rods for any visible damage?
