Hey, thanks for the helpful tip! Did you have any residues or other issues after the control unit was repaired? And can you still remember what you paid for it? That would be super helpful.

Hi, everything went smoothly for me after the control unit was repaired. No residues or additional problems. In particular, the restriction of the height control function was fixed. However, the repair of the control unit cost me quite a bit, €1000 to be exact. But hey, it was worth it. No more problems with the car since then. So I'd say get it checked before it gets worse. Cheers!

Thanks, that reassures me a little. 1000 € is a lot of money, but if it solves the problem and I don't have any more headaches, then it's probably worth it. I think I'll take my car to the mechanic tomorrow and hope for the best. Thanks again for your experience and advice!

Hey, I had a similar experience with my 2016 Mercedes E-Class. In my case, the control unit was defective. Sounds similar to your problem. It was quite an effort to fix the whole thing. It's pretty serious because the ECU is responsible for the proper functioning of many systems in your car. So yes, you should definitely take it to the garage and get it checked before it causes any more problems.
