Hiace AC not cooling

Thanks for the quick reply. How would I go about checking the AC compressor clutch engagement? And where exactly is the pressure switch located on the Hiace? Is it easy to access, or will I need to remove a bunch of components to get to it?

Checking the clutch engagement can be tricky without the right tools, but you should be able to see if the centre part of the compressor pulley is spinning when the AC is switched on. As for the pressure switch, it's usually located on one of the refrigerant lines, often near the condenser. Honestly, without proper AC diagnostics tools, you're probably best off getting it checked by a workshop. Sounds like a potential refrigerant leak or a faulty component in the AC system. Could get expensive.

Appreciate the advice. Sounds like it's beyond my limited capabilities. I'll book it into a workshop for AC diagnostics. Initial quote is around 1000€, hopefully they can pinpoint the issue quickly. Thanks again for the help.

Hmm, that's not ideal, especially with such low mileage. Have you checked the AC compressor clutch is engaging when you turn the AC on? Also, is there any refrigerant in the system? A leak could cause the system to shut down completely to protect itself. Have you checked the pressure switch?
