Boost pressure sensor? Where is that located, and is it something I could check myself without special tools? Could a faulty sensor really cause all those problems?

Yes, a faulty boost pressure sensor can cause all those issues. I strongly suggest visiting a professional. In my case, the issue was a defective cable or plug connection. The workshop repair was 95€, and everything went back to normal.

Thanks for the tip! I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on. It was indeed the boost pressure sensor cable. They fixed it for 95€, and it's running perfectly again. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar! I had a similar issue with my Hiace. Jerking, whistling... Does it feel like the turbo isn't kicking in properly? Have you checked the boost pressure sensor? It might be a simple fix.
