Hiace power windows failure

Hi, I'm having a strange issue with my 2011 Toyota Hiace (gasoline engine). The power windows suddenly stopped working after I replaced the battery. Now, I can't operate any of the windows, and there's an error stored in the memory. I suspect it's a window regulator initialization issue, but is there anything I can do myself before visiting a mechanic? Has anyone experienced a similar problem after a battery replacement?

After replacing the battery in a 2011 Toyota Hiace, the power windows stopped functioning, and an error was stored in the memory. I had something similar happen in my Hiace. Did you try to reset the window motor? Maybe you have to remove the door panel first?

Yeah, I had to do it like that. But maybe it's just best to go to the workshop. It's probably a car electronics thing.

Thanks for the advice! I ended up taking it to a workshop, and you were right. They had to re-initialize the window regulators. Cost me 290€, but at least the windows work again!
