Highlander AC compressor issue

Hi, I've got a 2013 Toyota Highlander Hybrid and the A/C compressor seems to have shut off. The air conditioning system doesn't switch on, and it no longer cools at all. I checked the error memory and there's a fault stored. Anyone experienced something similar?

That's a bummer. Has the system been checked for refrigerant leaks? Sometimes a low refrigerant level can cause the compressor to shut down to protect itself. Also, maybe it’s the pressure sensor? Is the HVAC system making any unusual noises?

I haven't checked for leaks yet, that's a good point. Where exactly is the pressure sensor located? Is it easy to get to? I can't hear any unusual noises coming from the A/C system.

I'm not entirely sure about the exact location on your Highlander, but it's usually somewhere along the refrigerant lines. Given that there's a stored error and you haven't found any obvious issues, it might be best to have a workshop take a look. Could be undervoltage issues too, hard to say without proper tools.

Thanks for the advice! Took it to the workshop, and it turned out to be an undervoltage issue. They sorted it out for 240€ Appreciate the help!
