Highlander fault memory lock active

Help! My 2003 Toyota Highlander hybrid is acting up. The computer says there's a 'fault memory lock active' and it's just storing errors. I'm worried it's something serious. I suspect it might be an electrical problem, possibly undervoltage?

I had a similar issue with my Highlander, although it wasn't the hybrid version. It sounds like your car's computer is having a hard time remembering things, like a goldfish! Was there anything specific happening before this started?

Interesting. No, nothing really obvious happened before. Just started getting the error messages. When yours had this, what did you end up doing? Was it a simple fix or something more involved?

Mine turned out to be a glitch related to low voltage. It’s like the car’s brain wasn’t getting enough power to properly function. I'd suggest taking it to a trusted mechanic for a proper diagnostic check. They can read the error codes and pinpoint the issue.

Thanks so much for the advice! I took it to the workshop, and you were right! The error was caused by an undervoltage issue, they sorted it out for 240€. Really appreciate your help!
