Highlander Washer Fluid Sensor Issue

Hi, I have a 2016 Toyota Highlander with a gasoline engine. I'm getting a "Washer fluid low" warning, even though the reservoir is full. The error is stored in the error memory and the windshield washer system no longer works. I checked the fluid level, and it seems fine. Any ideas?

I had a similar issue with my Highlander. Have you checked the spray jets themselves? Sometimes they get clogged and the system throws an error.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check the jets. If they're not clogged, what else could cause this?

If the jets are clear, it might be a faulty washer motor or a problem with the fluid level sensor itself. Honestly, I'd take it to a workshop to get it diagnosed properly.

Thanks, I appreciate the advice. It turned out to be a faulty sensor. Replaced it for 25€ and now it works again.
