Mileage is 182206 km. Regarding the cable and plug connections: Is the location readily accessible, or does it necessitate dismantling components? The diagnostic information does not provide a specific error code, merely stating 'error stored'.

Yeah, that sounds extremely similar to what I experienced. Accessing the connections can be a bit fiddly, but nothing too extreme, as I remember it. Given the lack of a specific error code, it's probably best to get a workshop to check it over. I ended up doing that and they spotted the dodgy connector right away.

Interesting. I had a similar issue with my Hilux – though you didn't mention your mileage, so I am not sure if we're in the same ballpark. Have you checked the cable and plug connections to the steering column adjustment motor? That was the culprit in my case. Is the error code specific?
