Hilux fuel level sensor issue

Hey, my 2021 Toyota Hilux with a gasoline engine is acting up. It's got about 128k km on it. The check engine light keeps coming on, and it occasionally stalls at idle. I scanned it and got an error related to the fuel level sensor. Anyone seen this before? I checked the fuel cap, it's on tight.

Sounds familiar. I've had a similar issue with my Hilux. Does your fuel gauge act erratically or seem inaccurate at all?

Yeah, sometimes the fuel gauge seems to jump around a bit, especially when the tank is low. Is that what you experienced?

Exactly! I suspected the sensor itself but ended up taking it to a trusted workshop. Saved me a lot of guesswork. They sorted it out quickly.

Thanks! It was indeed the fuel level sensor. Turns out it was just a defective fuse causing it. Changed it and the error is gone and cost me 52€. Appreciate the help!
