Hilux massage seat not working
Summary of the thread
The massage function in a 2017 Toyota Hilux driver's seat is not working, and a diagnostic check has recorded an error code for the seat's massage system. The issue might be due to a cable or plug problem, with suggestions to check the wiring harness under the seat for any snags or damage and to inspect the fuse, which could be blown. If these checks do not resolve the issue, a faulty module might be the cause, and taking the vehicle to a workshop for a potential module replacement is advised.

Thanks! Could you tell me where the fuse and wiring harness are exactly? Are some connectors in the harness more likely to fail?

The fuse is usually in the fuse box under the hood. Check the diagram on the fusebox cover; there should be one for the seats. Trace the wires from the seat switch down to the connectors under the seat for the harness. Wiggle them all. In my case, it ended up being a faulty module. Cost me about 95€ at the shop to fix. You might want to just take it to a workshop.

Thanks. I’ll check the wiring harness and fuse. If it's still not working, I’ll get it to a workshop, keeping in mind the potential module replacement cost.

I had a similar issue with the massage seat in my Hilux. Check the wiring harness under the seat. They can sometimes get snagged or damaged. Wiggle all the connectors and see if that helps. Also, have you checked the fuse for the seat? It might be blown.
