Thanks for the reply. I've visually inspected the connector, but everything seems okay at first glance. Could you give me more details about your experience? Did you also suspect the solar sensor, and what was the actual fix in your case?

Yeah, it turned out to be the solar sensor. I thought it was something else entirely at first, but the workshop diagnosed it pretty quickly. Honestly, I'd recommend taking it in. The potential for messing with the electronics isn't worth it, in my opinion.

Thanks, that's helpful. I took it to the workshop like you recommended. They found a faulty connection at the solar sensor and replaced it, as expected. The final bill was only 95€, so I'm quite happy. Much appreciated!

Hey, I have a Hilux too, and I had a similar issue a while back. It also affected my heating. I didn't check the error memory, but the heating was definitely underperforming. Did you try checking the sensor's connection yourself?
