Hilux Windshield Wipers Failure

I had a similar thing happen in my Hilux! No wipers, error code... Drove me nuts. Check the wiring harness and the plug connection to the wiper switch first. I bet that's where your problem lies. Any damage there?

Thanks for the tip! Where exactly is the wiper switch wiring harness located? Is it behind the steering column covers? I'm not very familiar with the inner workings, so any pointers would be awesome.

Yep, you'll find the plug behind the steering column covers. That's exactly where mine went bad. Honestly, if you're not confident with electrical stuff, best to take it to a workshop. I ended up doing that and they fixed it for a decent price.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and you were spot on – it was a faulty cable connection at the wiper switch. They replaced the connector, and it cost me 95€. Everything is working perfectly now!
