Summary of the thread
A 2007 Honda Crossroad is experiencing issues with incorrect temperature readings, a check engine light, and slow engine warm-up. Thanks, useful info. I visually inspected the radiator and cooling grille; nothing obvious blocking airflow. Any chance you remember specifically what the issue was on your Crossroad?

Yeah, pretty sure it was the same thing - slow to heat up, check engine light eventually. Honestly, I didn't mess around too much trying to diagnose it myself. I just took it to my local shop. They figured it out pretty quick. Definitely worth getting it checked out before it causes any bigger problems.

Understood. Will take it to a workshop. Thanks for the advice. Turns out it was a restricted cooling grille after all; cost me 52€ to resolve.

Wow, those are some weird symptoms all happening at once! I had something kinda similar happen with my Crossroad. Check Engine light was on, and it just felt like the engine was taking forever to warm up, especially on cold days. Did you check for any obvious blockage of the radiator, like leaves or debris? That cooling grille is pretty exposed.
