Honda Greiz Jerking Acceleration
Summary of the thread
The 2016 Honda Greiz was experiencing jerking acceleration and a check engine light, suggesting a possible misfire. The issue was traced to a leak in the exhaust system, which can affect oxygen sensor readings and engine performance. Inspecting the exhaust manifold gasket, flex pipe, and exhaust pipes for leaks was recommended, and a smoke test at a workshop was suggested. The problem was resolved by repairing the exhaust leak, restoring smooth engine operation.

Exhaust system, huh? Where exactly should I be looking for leaks? I thought that mostly caused noise, not rough running. And would that also explain that the error memory shows errors?

Yeah, exhaust leaks mess with the oxygen sensor readings and that will cause the engine to run poorly, and store errors. Start by inspecting the exhaust manifold gasket, the flex pipe and all the exhaust pipes. Visually, you may find soot around the leaking area. However, you can also get it smoke tested at a workshop. By the way, in my case a cracked exhaust manifold caused the problem. Going to a workshop may be a good idea...

Appreciate the help. Turns out it was a leak in the exhaust system. Cost me 265€ to get it sorted. Runs smooth as butter now. Thanks!

Sounds familiar. Had a similar issue with my old Opel Astra, though it was a diesel. Check engine light, loss of power under load, the whole shebang. Have you had a look at the exhaust system? A small leak can cause uneven engine running.
