Honda Greiz MAF Sensor Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2019 Honda Greiz owner reported issues of higher fuel consumption, engine stalling at idle, and the check engine light being on, along with smoke during acceleration. These symptoms suggested a potential problem with the mass air flow (MAF) sensor. After consulting with another owner who experienced similar issues, it was advised to have the MAF sensor checked and possibly replaced. The owner confirmed that the MAF sensor was indeed the problem and had it replaced at a workshop.

Performance has definitely declined. The car feels sluggish. The air filter was replaced about 10,000 km ago, so it should be fine. If it was indeed your MAF sensor, what did you do to fix it?

Yep, sounds like the MAF sensor. When mine went, the engine stalling was the worst part. I tried cleaning the sensor first, but it didn't help for long. Eventually, I had to get it replaced. Given the symptoms and mileage, I'd suggest getting it checked out by a workshop.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a workshop, and you were right, it was the MAF sensor. Replacement cost me 365€. Appreciate the help!

Sounds familiar! I have a Honda Greiz too. Had similar symptoms a while back – higher fuel consumption and the check engine light were the first signs. Has the performance declined at all? I think it might be the MAF sensor. How old is your air filter?
