Honda HRV AC Issue Undervoltage
Summary of the thread
A 2013 Honda HRV experienced an A/C issue where the system stopped working and wasn't cooling, with an error stored. The problem was identified as an undervoltage issue, potentially caused by a refrigerant leak or a faulty pressure sensor. The solution involved consulting a workshop, where a faulty pressure sensor was diagnosed and replaced, resolving the issue.

Undervoltage, huh? Interesting. Where should I start looking? I'm not sure how to check the pressure sensor, for example.

Given the stored error, it might be prudent to consult a qualified workshop for a diagnosis. They possess the tools and expertise to accurately assess the pressure sensor, pressure switch, belt tensioner, or any leaks within the A/C system. Think of it as calling in a seasoned detective to solve a complex case.

Thanks! Took it to a shop, and it was indeed undervoltage, but the root cause was a faulty pressure sensor. They replaced it, recharged the system, and all is well. Cost me 240€.

Greetings. I once experienced something similar with my HRV (though, mine is a later model). The symptoms you describe suggest a potential undervoltage problem, perhaps caused by a refrigerant leak or a faulty pressure sensor. It's like trying to run a marathon with your shoelaces tied together; the system simply can't perform optimally.
