Honda Jade Steering Vibration Spongy Handling

My 2018 Honda Jade gasoline has a concerning steering issue at 167425 km. The steering wheel vibrates a lot, and the handling feels spongy. The error memory has a power steering error. Sometimes, it's much harder to steer, like the power steering is failing. I've checked what I can see, and I think it might be a bad cable or plug. Has anyone else had this?

I also drive a Honda Jade and had similar symptoms recently. A vibrating wheel and spongy handling are classic signs. Did you check the power steering fluid level?

For me, the problems persisted even after checking the fluid. Given the error code and the symptoms, a faulty connection is likely. To be safe, I'd recommend a trusted workshop check the steering system. It's better to be cautious with steering.

Thanks so much for the advice! A workshop visit it is. I'll have them check all the cable and plug connections. Turns out it was a defective plug connection, which was repaired for 95€. Now it drives like new again!
