How to Register a New Battery in an Audi A6?

Hello everyone, I recently replaced the battery in my Audi A6 (2009, 158,000 km) and I'm experiencing a weak battery issue when starting the engine. I've heard that I need to register the new battery with the car's system. Could anyone guide me on how to properly register the new battery? Any step-by-step instructions or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

To register the new battery in your Audi A6, you'll need a diagnostic tool that supports battery registration. Here's a basic outline of the process: 1. Connect the diagnostic tool to the OBD-II port. 2. Turn the ignition on but do not start the engine. 3. Access the battery management system through the tool. 4. Enter the new battery details (such as capacity, serial number, and type). 5. Save the changes and exit the system. If you're not comfortable doing this yourself, I recommend visiting a professional mechanic or an Audi dealership. Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions!

Sorry to drag this out... but under 'Battery' .. only two options are displayed: - Evaluate your battery health. - Increase you battery's longterm health. Trying another option.... under the Coding section ... there is no options listed for the battery.
