HRV Error Memory Lock Active
Summary of the thread
A 2004 Honda HRV is experiencing an "error memory lock active" issue, indicating a stored error. A possible cause is undervoltage affecting the control unit. The suggested solution is to have the vehicle checked at a workshop, where diagnostics can confirm the issue and resolve it.

Control unit? How would I even check that? What fault codes were stored in your case?

Yeah, the control unit. Mine had locked up because of low voltage. The ECU diagnostics showed it clearly. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop.

Thanks, will do. Took it to the workshop, undervoltage was the problem, like you said. Cost me 240€. Cheers!

HRV, huh? Sounds familiar. Undervoltage maybe? Had something similar once. Was the control unit affected?
