HRV injector fault
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Honda HRV diesel with 91,512 km is experiencing rough running and a check engine light, with a stored error code indicating a 'reset quantity drift compensation' issue. This is likely due to a faulty injector. The recommended solution is to have a workshop diagnose and replace the injector, followed by performing the necessary system resets and calibrations.

Consistently rough. Onboard diagnostics point to injector. Reset quantity drift compensation; is that something I can handle, or is it dealer-only? Do I need performance tuning after?

Yeah, mine was consistent too. Honestly, I wouldn't mess with the reset procedure if you suspect an injector. Could make things worse. Best bet is a workshop. They can properly diagnose and replace the injector. Then they'll handle all the necessary resets and calibrations. Remember, a defective injection valve is likely the cause.

Thanks. Workshop confirmed injector issue. Reset quantity drift compensation needed after replacement. Repair cost 515€. Appreciate the advice.

I have an HRV too. Similar symptoms; rough idle and the light. Have you checked the basics? Is it consistently rough, or just at certain times? I had a similar problem, turned out to be a faulty injector. Same error code as well. Frustrating, isn't it?
