HRV Mirror Heating Issue
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Honda HRV diesel is experiencing a mirror heating issue, with an error code suggesting a potential problem with a cable or plug connection. The problem may be due to a faulty connection rather than a fuse issue. It is recommended to inspect the cable connections and plugs, and if unresolved, consult a mechanic to diagnose and fix the issue, potentially avoiding a costly mirror replacement.
Did this summary help you solve your problem?

Yeah, I checked all the relevant fuses, and they seem to be fine. Was the error code the same for you? And how did you end up fixing it? I'm trying to avoid spending a fortune on a whole mirror replacement if it's just a loose wire.

I'm not sure about the exact error code anymore, it was a while ago. All I remember is the workshop said there was a problem with the connection. Take a look at the cable connections and plugs. I would suggest you go straight to the workshop. They will find the problem for sure.

Thanks for the advice! Sounds like a trip to the mechanic is inevitable. At least I have a better idea of what to expect now - hopefully, it's just a connection issue like yours was. They quoted me about 95€, so, hopefully, that's all it will be.

I had something similar happen on my HRV. Noticed the mirror wasn't heating up when it was cold out. Did you check the fuses? That was my first thought, but it wasn't the problem for me.
