Thanks! Where is the voltage regulator located, and is it easy to test?

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure where it's located on the HRV specifically. I didn't tackle the repair myself; things got a bit too complex for my liking with all the electronics involved. Considering you're seeing widespread electrical malfunctions, it's probably best to get it checked out by a professional to avoid causing further damage. A faulty voltage regulator can definitely cause the issues you're describing, but a proper diagnosis is key.

OK, I understand. Thanks; I'll take it to a workshop. It turned out that the battery was faulty and needed replacement, causing the overvoltage, as initially suspected. Repair bill was 290€. Appreciate the help!

I also have a Honda HRV. I had similar electrical issues a while back; a power surge fried a few things. Have you checked the voltage regulator? That could be the culprit causing the overvoltage and draining your battery.
