Hyundai H1 Engine Power Loss
Summary of the thread
A 2015 Hyundai H1 diesel experienced engine power loss and stored an error in the memory, suspected to be linked to previous third-party chip tuning. The issue was confirmed to be due to a faulty ECU remap. The recommended solution was to have the vehicle checked by a professional workshop, which resolved the problem.

Yeah, it was a complete ECU remap. Did you manage to sort it out yourself or did you need to take it somewhere?

I tried fiddling, but honestly, vehicle diagnostics on these things can be tricky. Ended up taking it to a workshop. Best to get it checked properly. Could save you a lot of hassle.

Cheers, took your advice and went to a workshop. Turns out the chip tuning was indeed faulty. Cost me 180€ to get it sorted. Thanks for the help!

I had a similar issue with my H1. Same symptoms – power loss and the car computer flagged an error. Did the tuning involve any modifications to the ECU?
