Hyundai i10 central locking failure
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Hyundai i10 experienced a central locking failure, preventing the locking and unlocking of doors, with an error stored in the car's computer. Initial suggestions included checking the fuses, but the issue was ultimately traced to a defective cable or plug connection within the door. The problem was resolved by a workshop, restoring the vehicle's functionality.

Fuses, eh? I'll give that a look-see. But what if it's not the fuses? What was the eventual problem with your Megane?

Unfortunately, it wasn't just the fuses in my case. After fiddling around for ages, I ended up taking it to a workshop. They said it was a defective connection within the door. I would go there, before damaging something.

Thanks for the insight! I'm afraid it was indeed a defective cable or plug connection of the component that caused my troubles. Cost me 95€ to get it fixed but at least I'm mobile again!

That sounds frustrating. I had a similar issue with my old Renault Megane a few years back. Central locking packed it in, same symptoms. Have you checked the fuses? It might be something simple like that before you start tearing things apart.
