Hyundai i10 headlight range control issue
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Hyundai i10 owner experienced issues with the headlight range control, causing the low beams to point incorrectly, accompanied by a warning light on the speedometer. The problem was identified as a defective servomotor in the headlight. The suggested solution was to have the servomotor checked and replaced, which resolved the issue.

Thanks for the quick reply! So it was definitely the servomotor? Did you have any other symptoms besides the beam issue and warning lights? And was it obvious when you checked the servomotor, or did you need to do some deeper testing?

Yep, pretty sure it was the servomotor. No other symptoms I can recall. Honestly, I just took it to a workshop, they diagnosed it quickly and replaced the faulty part.

Thanks again for your help. I took it to a workshop as you suggested, and it turned out to be a defective servomotor in the headlight, just like you said. Cost me 1040€ to get it sorted, but at least it's fixed now.

I had something similar with my i10. Same warning lights and the beam adjustment all over the place. For me, it was the servomotor in one of the headlights. Might be worth checking those.
