Hyundai i10 sun blind fault
Summary of the thread
A 2017 Hyundai i10 with a gasoline engine developed a fault with the sun blind, which no longer retracts or extends properly and is causing an error code. The issue is suspected to be related to the motor, despite the vehicle having only 24,065 km. After taking the car to a workshop, it was confirmed that the sun blind motor was defective, and the problem was resolved with a repair.

I've visually checked, and I cannot see any obvious obstructions. Was that also the case for you?

Yeah, looked clear to me too. In the end, I had to take it to a workshop. They confirmed it was a motor issue. Save yourself the hassle and just take it in.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to the workshop as you suggested, and indeed, the sun blind motor was defective. Repair cost me around 330€. Bit annoying, but at least it's sorted.

Sounds familiar! Had a similar issue with the sun blind on my old Renault Megane. Did you check if something is blocking the sun blind?
