Hyundai i20 sunroof initialization error

Hi, I'm having a weird issue with my 2016 Hyundai i20 diesel. The sunroof seems to have gone crazy. I'm getting a 'sunroof not initialized' error. The sunblind is stuck, and the whole convertible top won't open or close anymore. It also doesn't retract or extend. I was told it may be due to some coding that was done on the vehicle. Has anyone seen this before?

Hey, I had something similar happen on my i20. Was the sunblind just stuck in one position, and the whole sunroof control just stopped working? Did you try checking the fuses?

Yeah, that's exactly it! Sunblind stuck, and nothing works. Where are the fuses located, and which one should I be checking?

Okay, so it sounds very similar to my problem. I wouldn't start messing with fuses if you aren't comfortable. I ended up taking mine to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a shop, and they sorted it out. Seems like the coding got messed up like I suspected. Cost me 75€ to get it re-initialized. Appreciate the help!
