Hyundai i20 sunroof initialization error
Summary of the thread
A 2016 Hyundai i20 diesel is experiencing a 'sunroof not initialized' error, causing the sunblind to be stuck and the sunroof controls to be non-functional. The issue may be related to coding changes made to the vehicle. A suggested solution is to have the vehicle checked by a professional, as re-initialization resolved a similar problem for another owner.

Yeah, that's exactly it! Sunblind stuck, and nothing works. Where are the fuses located, and which one should I be checking?

Okay, so it sounds very similar to my problem. I wouldn't start messing with fuses if you aren't comfortable. I ended up taking mine to a workshop. They sorted it out pretty quickly.

Thanks for the advice! I took it to a shop, and they sorted it out. Seems like the coding got messed up like I suspected. Cost me 75€ to get it re-initialized. Appreciate the help!

Hey, I had something similar happen on my i20. Was the sunblind just stuck in one position, and the whole sunroof control just stopped working? Did you try checking the fuses?
