Hyundai Palisade Oil Pressure Warning
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Hyundai Palisade with a diesel engine is displaying an oil pressure warning light, causing concern for potential engine damage. Despite the oil level appearing normal, the issue may be linked to exceeding the maintenance interval, leading to possible sludge buildup affecting oil pressure. The recommended solution is to promptly take the vehicle to a workshop for an oil change and engine cleaning to prevent further damage.

The oil color seems normal, but yes, I did exceed the maintenance interval. I was planning to get it done next week. Could that really be the problem? How did you solve the issue on your Audi?

In my case, the extended interval caused sludge buildup, which messed with the oil pressure. I suggest you take it to a workshop ASAP. They can check for oil leaks and assess if any engine damage has occurred. I ended up paying 250€ for an oil change and engine flush. Don't delay it!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience! I took it to the workshop, and you were right; the maintenance interval was the issue. They performed an oil change and cleaned the engine; the total cost was 165€. I'll be more careful about the intervals in the future!

That sounds familiar. I had a similar issue with my 2018 Audi A4. Same oil pressure warnings and everything. Have you checked the oil color? In my case, it looked kind of milky. Did you exceed the maintenance interval by any chance?
