Thanks for the quick reply! No, the fan isn't running at all, even when the engine's clearly overheating. And no, I haven't touched the cooling system recently. What could cause the fan to just stop working like that?

If the fan isn't running at all, even when the engine's hot, then it's likely an electrical issue or a faulty fan motor. Given your model and the symptoms, I would suggest checking the speed sensor, it might be defective. Without proper diagnosis I would strongly suggest taking it to a reputable workshop to check the electrical connections and the fan motor itself. If it's neither of those, the speed sensor could be the culprit.

Okay, thanks for the advice! I had my mechanic take a look, and it turned out the speed sensor was defective, just like you said. Ended up costing me around 250€ to replace. Really appreciate the help!

Overheating and a check engine light on your Porter? Given that you've already checked the coolant, the radiator fan is a likely culprit. Have you noticed if the fan is running at all when the engine is hot? Also, have you had any work done on the cooling system recently? Sometimes air pockets can cause issues like this.
