Thanks for sharing the details about the software malfunction issue. My I Pace had almost identical symptoms last fall. The onboard diagnostics were going crazy with error codes, and the entire infotainment system was completely unresponsive. The dealer had to perform a full system recalibration and update several control modules. The whole process took about 3 days since they needed to run multiple diagnostic cycles to verify everything was working correctly. How much did the repairs end up costing in your case? Have you experienced any new ECU problems since the fix? Just wondering if I should expect any recurring issues down the line.

After the dealer fixed my I Pace, the Vehicle software has been running flawlessly. The software reset completely resolved the control unit issues and cleared all those problematic error codes. The total cost came to 240€ for reprogramming the control unit and performing the necessary diagnostic tests. The investment was worth it since I have not experienced any software malfunction or system errors in the months since the repair. The infotainment system, navigation, and all electronic components are now working as intended. Regular software updates are installing correctly without generating new error codes. If your symptoms match what I experienced, getting the programming fixed by certified technicians is the right approach. While the repair cost might seem high, preventing further electronic issues makes it worthwhile.

Thanks for the helpful replies. I finally took my I Pace to the dealer last week after the onboard diagnostics kept showing those error codes. The entire system needed a complete software reset and ECU reprogramming. The repair took 4 days since they had to run multiple diagnostic cycles. Total cost was 280€ for the control unit work. Would have been nice if it was covered under warranty but my mileage was too high. Good news is the car runs perfectly now, no more error messages and all systems are working properly. The navigation is back online and the infotainment system responds normally. The technician mentioned they installed the latest software update which should prevent similar issues from happening again. Really glad I went to the dealer instead of a regular shop. Their diagnostic equipment and expertise with the electronic systems made all the difference. Hopefully this helps others facing similar problems with their I Pace.

Last month, my 2019 Jaguar E Pace EV had similar symptoms with multiple ECU problems and constant error codes. The main control unit was generating false readings, causing system-wide electrical malfunctions. The root cause was corrupted vehicle software following an incomplete update. The solution required a complete software reset of all control modules and reprogramming the main ECU. This was not a quick fix, the vehicle needed to stay at the service center while they performed multiple software updates and diagnostic cycles to ensure all systems were communicating properly. The repair was quite serious since corrupted software can affect critical vehicle functions, including power management and safety systems. The process involved specialized diagnostic equipment to clear all stored error codes and install fresh software versions. A regular mechanic typically cannot handle these electronic issues. The job requires dealer-level diagnostic tools and certified technicians with specific training on EV software systems. Given the symptoms described, it sounds very similar to what I experienced, likely requiring a full system software reset and ECU reprogramming. Would strongly recommend having this addressed at a certified dealer rather than attempting any DIY solutions, as improper software updates can cause more extensive electronic problems.
