i20 MOST Bus Audio Failure
Summary of the thread
A 2011 Hyundai i20 diesel is experiencing a complete audio system failure, with no sound from the radio or navigation system. The error memory indicates a MOST bus fault, suggesting a faulty control unit as the likely cause. After checking the fuses and finding no issues, it was determined that the problem was a faulty amplifier on the MOST bus, requiring a repair at a workshop.

Yes, I checked all the fuses related to the audio and navigation systems; they all seem fine. Did you manage to fix the issue yourself, or did you have to take it to a workshop? Any idea which control unit was causing the problem?

Nah, I didn't dare to mess with the control units myself. Car electronics are a pain. I took it straight to a workshop; they diagnosed it pretty quickly. I'd say go to a workshop if you aren't super familiar with car diagnostics.

I was hoping it would be a simple fix, but it looks like I'll be heading to the workshop. It turned out to be a faulty amplifier on the MOST bus, costing 1000€ to repair. Appreciate your help!

I have a Hyundai i20 too, and I had a similar issue a while back. No audio, nav system was dead... Sounds like the MOST bus is indeed the culprit. Did you try checking the fuses first?
