i30 Stalling at Idle
Summary of the thread
A 2021 Hyundai i30 with a gasoline engine is experiencing stalling at idle and a check engine light, suspected to be caused by the tank ventilation valve. A similar issue was resolved by addressing clogged hoses related to the purge valve, which can cause pressure problems in the fuel system. The suggested solution involves checking for blockages in the hoses and possibly consulting a workshop for further diagnosis, which ultimately resolved the issue.

I haven't checked the hoses thoroughly yet. Where exactly should I be looking for these hoses and is there a way to test if the pressure sensor is faulty?

Without dismantling half the engine, there is no way for you to test the pressure sensor. However, regarding the hoses, trace them from the purge valve (usually near the engine, connected to the fuel tank) for blockages. Given the symptoms and mileage (68327 km), I'd advise consulting a trusted workshop. Could be hoses, but the sensor might be busted too.

I took it to the workshop, and you were spot on - it was clogged hoses related to the tank ventilation valve. Repair cost me 175€, and it's running smoothly now. Appreciate the help!

I had a similar issue with my i30. The symptoms sound eerily similar to when my purge valve went kaput. It's like a blocked artery in your fuel system, causing all sorts of pressure issues. Have you checked the hoses for any obvious clogs or kinks? The pressure sensor might also be involved, triggering that engine light.
