i40 Keyless Entry Failure
Summary of the thread
The keyless entry system on a 2013 Hyundai i40 gasoline model stopped working at 105,254 km, with an error code logged. The issue was suspected to be a defective cable or plug connection. A workshop diagnosed and confirmed a defective connection in the door, which was repaired, resolving the problem.

When you say similar, do you mean the keyless entry stopped entirely and an error code was logged? Was the sensor issue resolved?

Yes, keyless entry was completely non-functional, and an error code was present. Given the potential for a defective cable or plug connection, and the error code, maybe consult a workshop for a diagnostic assessment?

Thanks, I took it to a workshop as suggested. It was a defective connection in the door. Repair cost 95€. Everything is working now.

I have the same model, and I recall something similar. Was it the door switch, door handle, or door mechanism? Did you check the car door sensor?
