G'day! Thanks for taking the time to share your experience. Sounds like I could be dealing with a similar valve cable connection issue. Fingers crossed it's not as bad as I feared! In terms of getting it fixed, do you remember how much damage it did to your wallet? Just trying to get a rough figure so I know what I might be up against. And since getting it repaired, have you run into any other problems or was that the end of it? Your input has been super helpful, really appreciate it! Cheers!

Hey! Glad to hear my input's been of some use! Yeah, I remember being in similar shoes, wondering how deep I'd have to reach into my pocket. Well, the good news is that the defective valve cable connection didn't bleed me dry. I was charged about 170.00 € to get it all sorted. Slightly painful, but necessary. After the fix, its performance improved, and I didn't run into any real road bumps. The issue with the Transmission Oil Pressure Cooler was also resolved after seeing the mechanic. Since then, she's been purring like a kitten and the nasty gear grinding issues? Gone! Fingers crossed it'll be the same scenario for your Mazda Axela. Good luck with it all, hang in there! Cheers!

Hey! I have to say, you've given me a huge sigh of relief! 170.00 € surely sounds reasonable and thankfully within my budget. It's reassuring to know that your car's been doing great after the fix. Fingers crossed and hoping I'd have the same luck with my Mazda Axela. I'm gonna give my local mechanic a buzz tomorrow and update him with our conversation. Hopefully, the issue resolves soon and I can get back on the road without any problems. I really appreciate you taking the time to share your insights. You've saved me a major headache, cheers! All the best!

Hey there, Just read your car troubles, and it does sound similar to what I experienced with my 2012 Gasoline Mazda RX-8, which has a bit of mileage under its belt. Vibrations and weird transmission behavior eventually led me to dig into the issue. Turned out the culprit was the valve cable connection - it was defective. This caused the transmission to act out, including the kinda "rhythmic grinding" sounds when changing gears. The good news here is, the issue was not as serious as I initially predicted. Even more so, my experience with the mechanic was quite good this time around. He quickly diagnosed the problem, and I appreciated his thorough explanation about the valve cable's role in transmission function. I must say it added a lot to my understanding. So, from my experience, you might want to peek into the valve cable connection. Hope this helps and you get your Mazda Axela back to her smooth ride soon! Best of luck!
