The symptoms were almost identical: the ignition wouldn't activate and the car simply wouldn't start. It had to be replaced. Hey, all clear! After the Meyer from my trusted mechanic repaired the fault on the ignition starter switch, everything ran as smoothly as lubricating oil on a hot exhaust! No more problems since the repair. The repair of the broken fuse cost us about €52. That was okay, I think. Hopefully you'll get your Skoda back on the road again soon, mate! Good luck with that!
