Ikon diesel brake pedal pulsing

I'm experiencing some odd issues with my 2012 Ford Ikon diesel. It's clocked 153155 km. I've noticed a strange feedback from the brake pedal recently, almost like a pulsing sensation. I initially suspected air in the brake lines, so I bled the system. Brake fluid levels are fine, and there are no visible leaks. I then started wondering if I had metal brakes and the rotors were warped, but that seems fine too. Could undervoltage in the vehicle cause this? Is that even possible with hydraulic brakes?

I had a similar issue with my Ikon some time ago. Felt it mainly when braking at lower speeds. Did you check the disc brakes? Perhaps a slightly damaged ABS sensor ring?

Thanks! ABS sensor ring hadn't even crossed my mind. So, you reckon the ABS could actually cause a juddering through the pedal? Was your problem also linked to the pedal feel, or just general braking performance?

Yeah, exactly like you described it, pulsing through the pedal. In the end, it was undervoltage in the system messing with the ABS. I'd advise getting it checked out at a workshop.

Cheers for the advice! Dropped it at the workshop, and it was indeed undervoltage causing havoc with the ABS. New voltage regulator and a brake service later (240€), all sorted!
