No static noise at all. The system is totally unresponsive, no power. Does that point to anything specific?

Sounds like the display is defective. It happened to me. I ended up going to a workshop to get it fixed. In my case it was the display and error memory. Have you tried any other troubleshooting?

I had a similar problem in my Impala. Is there any static noise coming from the speakers? Does the sound system turn on at all, or is it completely dead?
