Impala Door Lock Problem

Having trouble with what I think is a faulty door contact signal on my 2020 Chevrolet Impala with a gasoline engine. The door can’t be locked or unlocked, either with the remote or manually. Mileage is 168033 km. I think it’s a defective cable or plug connection. Anyone seen this before?

I just visually inspected the wires and the connector for any obvious damage. Honestly, after fiddling with it for an hour, I gave up and took it to the shop. They found a broken wire inside the connector. Best bet is to get it checked by a pro before you mess something up.
