Insignia audio and sat nav errors

That sounds awfully familiar! I had almost the exact same issue with my Insignia. What kind of error codes are you seeing? Does it happen more when it's cold or wet, or is it totally random?

It does seem pretty random, but I think it's maybe a bit worse when it's damp. I haven't written the codes down, but something about comms failure. Did yours actually shut down completely sometimes?

Yep, mine would just die completely, or the screen would go blank. It turned out to be a dodgy connection in the end. I'd get it checked at a workshop; could be a loose wire or something similar. Saved me a bunch of headaches doing that.

Thanks a million for the advice! I'll book it in and mention the connection issue. Turns out you were bang on, it was a loose connection to the BUS system on one of the control units. Cost me 155€ to sort out. Hopefully, that's the end of it!
