Insignia automatic temperature control malfunction

Hey, I'm having a weird issue with my 2017 Vauxhall Insignia diesel. The automatic temperature control has completely stopped working, and the air conditioning refuses to switch on at all. I had the error memory read, and it shows a fault related to the interior temperature sensor. Anyone else had this problem? It's like the car thinks it's always the same temperature inside!

Yeah, that's exactly it! The temperature reading seems stuck, and the climate control is basically useless. Do you remember what the fix was? Was it a big job?

For me, it turned out to be a dodgy connection to the sensor. I’d say take it to a workshop. They should be able to sort it out quickly.

Thanks for the advice! Turns out you were spot on. I took it to a workshop, and it was indeed a defective cable/plug connection. They fixed it for 95€, and now the climate control is back to normal! Cheers for the help!
