Insignia Auxiliary Battery Alarm Error

Thanks. The engine starts fine. I'm just concerned about the error message and the alarm system being inactive. What were the specifics of your situation? Trying to figure out how big a problem this is.

Right, mine had the same symptoms, no starting issues, just the alarm being dead and the error. Eventually, it wouldn't reset. I'd suggest getting it checked at a workshop; could be the auxiliary battery needing replacement. Think of it like a small backup that's given up.

Thanks for the advice. I took the car to the workshop. They said it was a defective auxiliary battery, which was causing the alarm system issue. The replacement cost 330€, and it fixed the problem.

I have an Insignia as well and faced something similar last year. Is the car struggling to start, or are there any other electrical issues cropping up? Could just be a glitch, but alarm systems can be touchy.
