Insignia Clutch Pedal Switch Problems

I've got a 2015 Vauxhall Insignia diesel with 191967 km on the clock, and I'm experiencing some weird issues. I suspect a bad clutch pedal switch. I'm getting an error stored, the gear selection display in the speedometer is non-functional, the cruise control won't engage, and sometimes the engine refuses to start. From what I've gathered, it could be a defective cable or plug connection. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

I drive an Insignia too. Your symptoms sound familiar. Did you check the clutch switch itself? I had similar issues with my gear selector and cruise control acting up.

Yes, I had intermittent engine start issues as well. I would advise you to check the error memory and then visit a workshop.

Thanks a lot for sharing your experience. After checking the error memory myself, I followed your suggestion and visited a workshop. They confirmed it was the clutch pedal switch and replaced it. Repair cost was 95€. Everything's working fine now!
