Insignia Driver Seat Massage Failure
Summary of the thread
The massage function on a 2015 Vauxhall Insignia driver's seat stopped working, with the switch unresponsive and an error code appearing during a scan. A possible cause suggested was a loose connection under the seat. After a visual inspection didn't reveal any issues, it was recommended to seek professional help. The problem was resolved at a garage, where a loose connection was fixed, restoring the massage function.

Thanks for the tip! I had a quick look, but couldn't see anything obvious. Is there a common spot where these connections fail on the Insignia, or any specific wires I should be checking?

No worries! Sadly, there's no magic bullet spot I know of. If a visual check didn't reveal anything, and you have to start probing wires, I'd seriously consider a workshop visit. Messing with car electrics without proper know-how is like performing surgery with a butter knife! Better safe than sorry...or shocked!

Cheers! You're right, probably best left to the pros. Took it to a local garage, and as you suspected, it was a loose connection in the seat. They sorted it for 95€. All working perfectly now!

Sounds like a pain! If the scanner's flagging it, and the switch is dead, my bet's on a dodgy connection. Think of it like a Christmas tree light – one loose bulb and the whole string goes dark. Have you checked the plug under the seat? It might have come loose.
