Thanks for the quick reply! Was it definitely the rail pressure sensor? Did you replace it yourself or take it to a shop?

Yep, pretty sure it was the rail pressure sensor. I tried cleaning the contacts first, but no luck. Ultimately, I took it to a reputable workshop because messing with the fuel system yourself can be dangerous. They confirmed it was the sensor. Cost me about 240€ to get it sorted including labour.

Okay, thanks a lot! I appreciate the advice. I'll book it in at the workshop to get the sensor replaced. Hopefully, that will solve the problem.

Sounds familiar! I had similar issues with my Insignia. Check engine light, occasional stalling, and definitely a loss of power. I would bet the fuel pressure sensor is going bad. When it happened to me, the readings were all over the place.
