Insignia Height Control Issue

Hi, I have a 2010 Vauxhall Insignia diesel. The height control seems restricted. The warning light is on, low beam is off, and the car's uneven. Error memory also has an error. The ride feels bumpy. Any ideas?

Hey, I had a similar issue with my Insignia. Check the control rod on the height sensor. It might be defective. Is the car lower on one side than the other?

Yeah, the front seems lower than the back. Where exactly is the height sensor located? Is it easy to check myself?

Okay, that sounds exactly like what happened to mine. I wouldn't recommend tinkering with it if you're not experienced. Best take it to a workshop; they'll diagnose it properly and replace the faulty part. It should be a relatively cheap fix, hopefully!

Thanks, I appreciate the advice! I took it to the shop, and you were spot on. The control rod on the sensor was defective. Repair cost me 110€ and now the car is fine again.
