Insignia Mixture Preparation Error

My 2010 Vauxhall Insignia diesel (218588 km) has a 'mixture preparation error'. Symptoms: reduced power, intermittent check engine light, rough running, jerking during acceleration, and occasional stalling. I've checked the mass airflow sensor and spark plugs. Could it be the oxygen sensor or intake manifold?

I experienced similar symptoms on my Insignia. Have you considered a faulty injection valve/injector? Your symptoms are consistent with that.

Could you elaborate on your injector issue? Were there specific diagnostic codes or other factors that led you to that conclusion?

The diagnostic codes pointed to a fuel trim issue. After testing, the injectors were identified. Given your symptoms and mileage, injector failure is plausible. Have the injection system checked by a workshop.

Based on your advice, I took it to a workshop, and they confirmed a defective injector. The repair was 515€ including parts and labour. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
