Insignia Oil Level Sensor Error
Summary of the thread
A 2018 Vauxhall Insignia was experiencing an oil level sensor error, with warning lights appearing on the speedometer and error memory. The issue was suspected to be a faulty connection, possibly due to exposure to the elements. After checking the connections, it was determined that internal corrosion was likely the cause. The problem was resolved by addressing a corroded connector, restoring the vehicle's functionality.

Yeah, had a look-see. Everything appears to be seated properly. Any specific pins or wires known to cause grief?

Not specifically, but those connections are pretty exposed to the elements. If they look okay externally, there could still be internal corrosion you can't see. Given all symptoms, the sensor itself is likely fine. You might need to get it properly diagnosed in a workshop.

Cheers. Was hoping to avoid the shop, but you're probably right. I took it in and they reckon it was indeed a corroded connector. 95€ later and she's purring again. Thanks for the help!

Sounds familiar. Seen that before on a few. Have you checked the cable and plug connection to the sensor itself? That's usually the culprit.
