Insignia oil pressure warning

I had a similar issue with my Insignia. Although mine wasn't quite as old as yours, the oil was like black sludge. Has the oil color changed drastically? How's the oil filter looking? Could be a blocked filter or even an oil leak somewhere. I'd check those first. Maybe even think about using some oil additives next time to help keep things clean.

Thanks for the quick reply! The oil color is much darker than usual. I'll check the oil filter. When you say similar, do you mean the warning lights as well?

Yeah, same warning lights. In my case, the oil had completely broken down due to infrequent changes. Honestly, I'd get it to a workshop ASAP. They can properly diagnose it and make sure there's no lasting damage. It's probably just the oil, but better safe than sorry!

Thanks for the advice! It was indeed the exceeded maintenance interval causing oil sludge. An oil and filter change sorted it. Cost me 165€.
